I enjoy the flexibility of working as a designer with and competing in the many diverse and interesting contests offered. Helping contest holders find the perfect solution to meet their design needs are challenges I enjoy. The administration, support and designers are top-notch, and it's wonderful to be part of a design community that offers such a great service.

We are looking for one infographic to illustrate information for a recent study on mobile health and connected devices in Canada.

We would like to display the findings in a visually appealing way.  Please use the information below and attached to create an illustrated image – please no stock images. The infographic should be approximately 512 px X 1024 px. We would like to work with the winning designer one-on-one afterwards to create the French design.

Connecting for Health

[insert Canada map] (in smaller font than above title) Diffusion of Smart Devices for Health in Canada

A majority of Canadian adults (66%) regularly track one or more aspects of their health or wellbeing – 40% of Canadians are e-trackers – they track their health/well-being using digital health apps or devices.

32% of Canadians use mobile apps to track their health, 24% use  smart-connected device like a watch or a bracelet.

26% of Canadians are traditional trackers. They track their health/well-being using a paper-based journal/notebook or computer word program or spreadsheet.

Canadians who use mobile apps or smart connected devices are primarily:

Young adults (41% were between 18 and 30)

University educated (55%)

Well off (46% have an income of more than $80,000)

Self-report their health status as fairly healthy (

28% using mobile apps or smart connected devices users have a chronic illness)

90% of respondents using mobile health apps believe that they are in good, very good or excellent health.

While 64% of Canadians who use mobile health apps use them to monitor physical activity, very few (6%) are using them to track medical aspects of their health.  Older Canadians are more likely to track medical health-aspects – yet they do so using traditional tracking (paper-based) methods.

Metrics tracked if health/well-being are regularly monitored (traditional tracker vs. e-trackers):

Physical activity: 42% vs. 64%

Weight: 56% vs. 36%

Use of medication: 32% vs 9%

Diabetes: 24% vs 6%

Dental health: 37% vs 4%

24% of Canadians own at least one connected device that captures data on their health or well-being

88% of Canadians who own a connected device own a bracelet or smartwatch

Canadians who own smart connected objects say connected objects:

Help them improve their health (69%)

Are user friendly (74%)

Meet their expectations (77%)

Are something they’ll continue to use (88%)

Crystal Overhead Door is a 19 year old garage door company and we are going to wrap our new for Ford E-350 cargo van. We are looking for a fresh eye catching design and would like to incorporate our current logo. We will likely roll out this new design on all our future vehicles and re-wraps. We would really like something to be eye catching and express what we do with the image/s as well as our phone number and website.
